The agronomy team has been working diligently inside and out to prepare for the upcoming season. We use the winter months to break down every piece of equipment to sharpen, check, and set each cutting unit, check for any issues that need addressed, as well as, going through all preventive maintenance procedures.
As weather permits we continue to prepare the course and grounds to allow us to jump start the 2022 season. We are currently working on cleaning up unsafe/dead trees that will enhance the golf property along with cleaning up the fence lines on Grandview and our main entrance on 52nd St.
Be on the lookout next week as Assistant Superintendent, Chris Coddington heads to Orlando, FL to volunteer with the Agronomy staff at Lake Nona Country Club to help prepare the course at the LPGA Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions. Chris will be assisting the staff at Lake Nona Country Club. Live videos and blogs will updated throughout the week!
